If you are a copyright holder or an authorized agent acting on behalf of one, and you believe that your copyrighted work has been used on our platform without authorization, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice.
Requirements for DMCA Notice
Your DMCA notice must be submitted in writing and must include the following critical elements:
- Your Authorized Signature: The physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
- Description of the Infringed Work: A detailed description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, including any registration details.
- Identification of the Infringing Material: Clear identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including its location on our platform (URL or other identifying information).
- Good Faith Declaration: A statement asserting that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy Statement: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your Contact Information: Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
Upon receipt of your valid DMCA notice, we will take action to remove or disable access to the disputed content and will notify the user responsible for uploading it. This user may file a counter-notification if they believe that the content was removed in error.
Counter-Notification Requirements
A counter-notification must contain:
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the user believes in good faith that the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
- The user’s contact information, including name, address, and email.
- A statement consenting to jurisdiction in the appropriate federal district court.
- The user’s signature.
We will forward the counter-notification to you, the complainant. If you do not initiate a legal action within 10-14 business days, the content may be restored.
